Water Waves
Water waves created by moving objects are beautiful. They start as simple shapes, but as the object moves those shapes accumulate and interact with each other in subtle and complex ways.
To create these images I computed the wave patterns with a program I wrote in C#. The backgrounds are photographs I took at Green Lake in Seattle. I rendered and composed the images using 3ds max.
